Aodhan (Ay-Dawn) is sired by The Lottery Horse and his dam is our own Rosa Lee . He was born
in the early spring of 2007. The name Aodhan is old Irish for "fire", we choose the name because he
has endless amounts of energy. This colt has to be on the go at all times and just loves to play with
anything and anyone who will play back. Aodhan is as sweet, tender and kind hearted as his dam.
When he was just days old Rosa had sequestered someone in a corner of her stall so that she could
get some attention of her own. Aodhan wasn't about to let mom stop him from having all the
people time he wanted so he reared up putting both of his front legs over his dams back and stuck
his head over her shoulders so that he could see what was going on. Aodhan was born with tons of
high reaching feather and adorable curly ringlets in his black and white mane. He's absolutely gorgeous
and sure to be a charmer when he is older. We showed him this year at the county fair and he won
2 nd place in his class. He also enjoyed the spot light at a couple of 4H shows where it was near
impossible for anyone to keep their hands off him, he loved it! Aodhan has been bathed, clipped,
trimmed, shown and hauled around the county all summer long. The boy has been handled allot.
He loves people and the excitement of the show. He wants to say hello to everyone; including
all the other horses.
